Selecting the perfect music for your special day can sometimes seem an
insurmountable task. Whether you like one specific style of music, or have a
broad range of musical tastes, together we can find the pieces that will
make your day fall into place.
If you are choosing music
for the wedding ceremony itself, you will most likely need selections for
each of the three parts of the ceremony - the processional, the interlude
(or signing of the register), and the recessional. Some brides prefer to
have separate pieces for their wedding party and themselves. This is a
common request and should be done without hesitation. Remember this is your
special day and it only happens once. We want it to be exactly what you have
been dreaming of. Other places to add selections that are slightly less
common, however emotionally important to some individuals, are the entrance of the
mothers (or primarily the mother of the bride) and the lighting of the unity
or memory candles.
Add a song that has a
special meaning to you and your partner as a solo piece, or stick to the
classical processional, interlude, and recessional format. Whatever you
decide, the music that you choose will enhance your wedding day and make it
a memorable event for all.
